Working closely with Technical leads to deliver a successful technical solution that meets the project’s requirements for quality, budget, and schedule. Travel to various project sites will be required for requirements gathering, client meetings, engineering support and delivery as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed designs, implement and test MES solutions and SCADA solutions that meet client requirements
  • Develop documentation required for validated facilities
  • Quickly learn new skills and technologies
  • Refine and follow Business Process Maps and/or User Cases for configuration of execution workflows
  • Develop and improve processes, procedures and tools used in the execution of projects
  • Work with customers to develop project methodologies that will enhance their standards
  • Identify change orders and justify changes to Project Management; resolve issues and establish priorities between projects
  • Start-up complex systems at customers’ plants
  • Proactively develop customer relationships; anticipate and provide solutions to customer needs giving high priority to customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

  • BSc degree in controls Engineering with minimum of 2-3 years of experience with SCADA projects
  • Experience with AVEVA solutions (SystemPlatform, MES) is Plus
  • Deployment experience with plant floor/Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions is a plus
  • Experience with the compliance of the systems and batch record and data integrity
  • Experience with the PLC is a plus
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols and drivers (Modbus, Profibus, MQTT ,OPC DA/UA,…, etc.)
  • Good Knowledge with communication Media (Ethernet, Fiberoptic, RADIO,.etc.).
  • Good Knowledge With SQL Database is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees at different levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with others from all levels
  • Experience in at least one computer language
  • Experience working with customers to create user requirement
  • Ability to travel for routine, short-duration (one to two weeks) project meetings, training and other business events.
  • Ability to travel for temporary assignments (domestic and international) away from Cairo Office (e.g. customer project sites.) Typical travel assignments range from two to six months at a time or 10% to 75% of total time per year.  Travel for extended assignments greater than one year is possible.  (In some cases, periodic return trips home are available during travel assignments.)
